Staying in Joy, leads to Peace and Rest

Our location is being challenged all the time. Where are you was a question the Abba asked Adam and Eve. He obviously knew where they were physically, but he was asking where was Adam spiritually. Our location spiritually changes from one circumstance to the other. Depending on what we are faced with all day long, usually determines our location spirtually. What we want is the ability to overcome circumstances and go to the place of peace and rest.

We find peace and rest one way. It’s called joy. Billy how can I have or know joy when everything is going wrong? Easy, just go to His presence. So how do I do that? Easy, begin to meditate, confess, muse, and think about who is my Father in this situation?

Sickness? He is my healer, my health, my soundness, my life, my wholeness, my rock. In this situation that’s who He is. If He is what I need Him to be to me, then who He is, is the strength of my circumstance. That joy is your strength.  The joy of the Lord is our strength. Asking who You are for me in this situation will give you the foundation for joy and joy will eventually lead to strength and strength will lead to peace and rest.
