I heard this from Danny Silk, out of Bethel, in Redding CA. The definition of focus and self control: SELF CONTROL IS NOT SAYING "NO" TO SOMETHING, - IT IS SAYING YES TO "ONE THING" (HIS WORD) SO MUCH THAT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOSES IT'S VOICE!

Self Control is a gift from Holy Spirit. It is the fruit; that is an end result of the root. The position we take in regards to our Focus on Jesus is the root. Resting in His Presence until the No is voiceless and our hearts are filled with His overwheleming and resounding yes to our simple glance; not only captivates his heart for us, it also plants seeds in our hearts that will manifest in our desire to dwell in His Presence NOW and for eternity.
