My heart has heard You say, "Come and talk with Me." And my heart responds, "LORD, I am coming."
Open up the doors

Only the Master can open doors that no one else can open and shut doors no one else can shut. We find oursleves so busy trying to open and shut doors in our own efforts. When He is the one who has the ability to open and shut each door in our life. Paul in Col 4: 3 (NLT) Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about His mysterious plan concerning Christ. King James says "open doors of utterance". Act 16: 27, an earthquake opened the prison doors that held Paul captive and allowed him to minister to the guard and the guard's family. Holy Spirit has the master key that locks and unlocks all the doors in our life. We have to be sensitive to His leading and wait until He opens the door. It's interesting that even though the door of the prison had been opened, Paul was sensative enough to Holy Spirit to stay there. The circumstance was such that this was not about getting out of prison.....this was about ministry to the guard and his family.
Within our circumstance doors will be open and shut each day. Only Holy Spirit can tell us to stay or go through. We must not only let Him open and close doors, but understand the importance of hearing His voice to know what to do. The two key elements here are waiting for Holy Spirit to move and listening to His voice to know how to proceed. David asked God, after finding his home burned and family kidnaped, should I go and get my family, and will we win. It would be a great benefit to know what shall I do and if I do that will I succeed. Paul faced a similar situation when Jesus confronted him on the road to Damascus, Acts 9: 5-6 NLT, Who are you, Lord? Saul asked. The voice replied, I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. Now get us and go into the city and you will be told what you must do.
The two questions Paul asked were, Who are you? and What must I do? Those are critical questions to ask all the time. In this circumstance, Father who are you? My Healer, my Supply, my Helper, my Wisdom etc. and since I know who you are now what must I do. I appreciate so much when one of my favorite people Brother Kenneth Copeland shared some advice Oral Roberts gave Kenneth early in his ministry. He told Kenneth there are three things important,
1. Find out the Will of God.
2. Do not consult with Flesh and Blood.
3. Get the Job Done at all Cost.
When He opens the door, listen for His voice. When you hear it ask: Who are you for me in this circumstance Lord, and what must I do.

Good word!:)
Hey uncle bill, this hasn't anything to do with the blog, though it was refreshing. I was just going to suggest building up a library of podcasts/videos from the different events you speak at. Not sure if you would do that here or on your facebook, but it was just an idea i had. I know we can record at the Vineyard and I am sure word of life can too. Just a thought. Love you guys, send Aunty Anne my best.
I am going to start a pod cast soon and there will be a link on this site to get to teachings. Great idea. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
