O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

2011 it's new
Posted Jan 3 2011 - 11:23am by BillyFletcher
It’s a new year with great expectations. It reminds me of the new life we have in Him. We are literally New Creatures that never before existed. So many times we carry too much from the old life not realizing that He provides everything for the new life and we need nothing from the old. Yet the old seems so comfortable. The realm of sense knowledge is so easy to rest in, needing to see the evidence of the old without the embrace of the new. The thought of the new with all it’s mystery and excitement is too often intimidating.
God’s desire and plans for us today and our future are only limited by what we say no too.

Recently I was in a meeting where the “Joy of the Lord” manifested. People seeming uncontrollably (even though they were under total control of Holy Spirit) laughing and being consumed with, His presence, encountering Holy Spirit. The speaker was talking about being baptized in Holy Spirit. Being immersed, soaked, saturated, marinated so transformed that every cell was filled to overflowing with His manifested presence.

John 14: 27 NLT, Jesus replied, "All who LOVE Me will DO what I say. My Father will love them, and We will come and make Our home with each of them.
Self Control and Focus

I heard this from Danny Silk, out of Bethel, in Redding CA. The definition of focus and self control: SELF CONTROL IS NOT SAYING "NO" TO SOMETHING, - IT IS SAYING YES TO "ONE THING" (HIS WORD) SO MUCH THAT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOSES IT'S VOICE!

Understanding Mystery
Posted Aug 12 2009 - 2:38pm by BillyFletcher
Understanding the mystery of God depends on our attitude and how we approach His presence. It is possible that we take the position, Father here is a blank check please fill out what you want and then when I know what you want I can decide if I want to sign the check. On the other hand what pleased Father is this attitude, Father here is a signed check, you fill out whatever you want and I will commit to your request.
Embracing Mystery

In John the 6th chapter Jesus refers to eating His body and drinking His blood. This so offended those He spoke to that it caused them to leave. It certainly was not one of His more popular teachings. It’s interesting however that after even some of His followers left he turned to the twelve and asked, Will you leave also? Peter, in one of the two times he nailed an answer to the Master’s questions said, no, we will not leave because you have the words of life. In reality Peter had no more idea what Jesus meant about eating His body or drinking His blood that those who left.
POWER PRESENCE - Time With Papa
Posted Mar 12 2009 - 10:36pm by BillyFletcher
In the world we have what is known as the power nap. Taking a very small amount of time and just closing your eyes and resting. From what I have heard others say this is rejuvenating and very relaxing. When a good friend of mine was telling me that he felt the pressures of every day life surrounding him the Father flashed in my spirit, you need a power presence time with Abba. That’s right. I shared as I was getting this right from the throne, “If you will just take say 15 minutes. stop everything and just enter into His presence.
